EpilepsyCONNECTICUT Epilepsy Foundation of Connecticut, Inc. The Epilepsy Foundation of Connecticut's Mission is to ensure that people with seizures are able to participate in all life experiences; and will prevent, control, and cure epilepsy through services, education, advocacy, and research. Disability Resources is a nonprofit organization estaglished to promote and improve awareness, availability and accessibility of information that can help people with disabilities life, learn, love, work, and play independently. They serve thousands of individuals with disabilities through a multidisciplinary network of service providers and consumers. In order to reach as many people with disabilities as cost effectively as possible, they target their services and publications to libraries, disability organizations, independent living centers, rehabilitation facilities, educational institutions, and health and social service providers. The Yale Epilepsy Program provides promising options for many adult and pediatric patients with epilepsy. Internationally known for clinical excellence and innovative research, this program was one of the nation's first and has evolved into one of the most active and advanced in the world.
American Epilepsy Society (AES) The AES promotes research and education for professionals dedicated to the prevention, treatment, and cure of epilepsy. The Epilepsy Foundation's mission is to ensure that people with seizures are able to participate in all life experiences; and will prevent, control, and cure epilepsy through research, education, advocacy, and services.
